How many shoes do I need to clean to make $5,000 a month?
Divide the goal by your average price. At $35 a clean that is 143 shoes a month, about 34 a week or 7 a day if you are open 5 days. Raise the average price with add-ons and the number drops fast.
What counts as costs per clean?
Everything one clean uses up: cleaner, conditioner, brushes and cloths as they wear out, bags and tags. Leave out rent and bills. Those go in their own slider because they stay the same however many shoes you do.
Why is my pay not in the costs?
What you keep each month is what is left to pay yourself, staff and tax. If you need $3,000 a month to live on, keep moving the goal until what you keep clears it.
